Help removing glued down flooring

I'm trying to install new flooring and the old floor is a glue down wood flooring and I'm having real issue trying to remove it. I was hoping someone would be able to get me some advise on how to do it better or correctly. I have taken a picture of what I'm dealing with to help with an advice.

What you see remove in the picture has taken over an hour to remove, I hope there is a way to get it done faster then that.

Here is a link that might be useful:

I just removed sheet vinyl glued down to concrete from a 4X6 area, and it took almost 4 hours, but I will say that by the time I did the last part I had learned how to go much faster than when I started. I found that a wood chisel worked best, but I don't know if you'll have the same success on wood glued to wood.

When I picked out my new hardwood flooring, I didn't think about ever removing it, but given how much work it is, those Click-n-lock floors are beginning to look kind of appealing.

Thanks, this flooring on cement and it's starting to look like I just have lots of back breaking work ahead of me.
