Susan, I came back to this thread to point out Annie's pattern, but I see you've beat me to it. It's actually a very nice looking dog sweater.

I bet you could adapt Lucia's "dog sweater pattern generator" for crochet - it's very basic, essentially just measurements and shaping directions. I knit one for my dog, and it turned out AWESOME!!!

I finally am taking a break from making kids sweaters and just finished making the Bernat pattern sweater for our doxie. It is very quick and easy. Please excuse Maggie May's eyes in the pictures. She has SARDs, so she no longer has retina's. It is too bad see can't see how good she looks in her new sweater. Enjoy! Linda
