I posted a few days ago about how to adjust pattern sizes and thank you all for your responses. I had also sent this to LionBrand and ask them since it was their pattern.

Here is what they told me:

Sts per inch x desired width=number of sts to CO

are they saying however many stitchs are per your inch, multiply that by how wide i want the item and that gives me the # of stitches to cast on?
