i took a knitting class and i love it and have signed up for the class #2. i started making a scarf and have found that the edges curled - stockinette stitch but it was too long to pull it back out. I am talking about the long edges, not the ends. since i didnt want a tube scarf, lol, i searched for solutions and really found none. but since i can crochet, i found that i can just run a double crochet down the sides and it seems to lay flat.

any other hurdles i need to know? any advice? i love it but was getting frustrated when it curled.

i want to knit something "real" now like, i dont know, maybe a blanket, or whatever. maybe after i learn some more stitches. i would love to have some easy patterns or good ideas.
