Frigidaire Affinity problem..... need suggestions.

Hi,

I recently replaced a 10 year old Frigidaire FL'er with the New Affinity. Washer is great but the dryer....uh there's a problem. The first one we had sounded like there was a shoe in it. Sears promptly delivered a new one. This one worked great but was crushed on both sides. Sears replaced it again but this one has a small dent and every revolution there is a rubbing noise. This doesn't seem right to me and if something is rubbing it's going to wear out sooner rather than later. My last Frigidaire had no issues in 10 years. Sears said they'd replace it yet again and compensate me for my trouble but frankly I'm losing confidence in the reliability.

Sears has been great and I'd like to stick with them. The salesman suggested I look at the Whirlpool Fl'ers or the Kenmore Fl'ers (rebranded Whirlpools). Consumer Reports rates them really well but the user reviews for both the brands are not very good at all. No one is really too excited about LG at Sears. The salesman said they are expensive and all plastic. I'm not really sure what to believe. Any suggestions?

If it matters the units need to be stackable and they will be on a cement floor in my basement.

Thanks!

J.
