How sweet of you to ask! Just happened to see this.:) I have a busy day, but stopped in to check the boards first. I am having my daughter and new son-in-law over for dinner. They were suppose to come last Tuesday night, and we had to cancel to head to my parents.

My Dad is OK. He is still in pain and the doctor said it would take up to a year for the ribs stop hurting. His legs are very weak and numb from diabetes, and why he fell. He is stubborn about letting anyone help him get up and down. He was trying to get up out of his favorite low slung leather chair, and just toppled sideways onto a table edge that cracked his ribs. We tried getting him a walker, but that didn't work, and he refuses one of those lift chairs, or lift pads.

While we were in SC checking on my parents, my son-in-laws grandmother died suddenly of heart failure. Up until that time, she was rarely sick. We left SC and came back for the funeral. It was so sad to see two cherished people get sick/pass on, after we had all been together for such a happy wedding. :(
