ORB vs. Stainless pulls

Please help me with this difficult decision. We have a Victorian house built in 1900 and our light fixtures, doorknobs, faucets (except in the kitchen sink) are all oil-rubbed bronze. In our kitchen, we will have all stainless appliances, stainless sink and a stainless faucet, but an ORB chandelier over the island.

Our cabinets are linen, countertop is soapstone (which we love by the way, even though it's still dusty and un-oiled).

Would you go with stainless pulls/knobs or ORB on the cabinets? We are really going back and forth.

We have similar finishes with cream cabinets, stainless appliances and sink/faucet, soapstone counters soon I hope, and an ORB light fixture. We went with the ORB pulls/knobs. The first knobs came in with a very "coppery" undertone which I didn't think looked good with the stainless. The samples we selected didn't have that. Upon checking, the hardware company agreed that the finish was different. So we have selected another company and still are going with ORB. The sample they sent looks wonderful with all the other elements. Here are a few pics but I didn't have a good one with the stainless appliance. Can you get samples of both and see them in your kitchen?

I think the ORB would be more dramatic than the SS on your cabinets and go very nicely w/the soapstone. Definitely ORB!

We'll have cream cabinets w/ black honed granite and stainless appliances. We're choosing ORB pulls and knobs as well.

Victorian? How about clear, colorless glass?

House of Antique Hardware ( houseofantiquehardware.com ) has a great selection and great prices.
