Though I'm not entirely sure, I belive this unit may be made by Bosch. I have a friend in the UK who said the Danby dryer looks exactly like the one Bosch made in the UK for years.

Danby dryers are made by Gorenje - up until this autumn Bosch dryers were also rebadged Gorenje's for 2 or 3 years whilst Bosch were developing a new, German-made vented dryer. Danby dryers haven't been anywhere near a BSH factory at all :-).
