I actually looked at a property like this in Mesa, AZ. Other than the step up into the rather narrow midsection of the house there was no way to tell it had ever been a mobile. It was on a beautiful landscaped lot with fruit trees, a workshop, a gazebo--but still titled as a 60's-era mobile home. IMPOSSIBLE to finance or insure properly. Sigh....it was hard to let that one go.
