Hello. I am really stuck on selecting paint colors and could use help! My plan is to paint living room, family room, foyer, hall, dining & kitchen. I have pretty much decided to use BM shaker beige as the main color in family room & living room and probably hall.

Where I need help is in choosing the kitchen (thinking a soft yellow) and foyer color. Also, in the living room and family room I have chair rail and would like to use a different color on the lower half in living room and upper half of family room. I'm leaning towards browns or greens or maybe going a shade or 2 darker/lighter than shaker beige.

Our home is very open so colors need to go well together and I prefer BM. I've only gotten as far as thinking I'd like a soft yellow in kitchen and now I'm stuck. Oh, and our carpets are a bluish/grey. Oh, and I love pics if you'd care to share.
