That sounds beautiful. I have Real Navy in my dining room that is similar to yours. Lots of light and huge windows and white wide casings.Note how the light will make the room look different colors as the day goes by. I love that aspect of the color. Here is a pic attached...see if this helps. c

I was inspired by a magazine pic (of course I can't find it now - ugh!) to use the purple. thought it might be a little risky, but pretty if it works. DH is even going for it!!!

No pics yet, but we are planning on painting our 14' x 14' den with windows on the north and east side a deep purple (probably not till February). We tried BM Autumn Purple and Black Raspberry, and we like the Black Raspberry, the Autumn Purple, while beautiful, is a little too pink, especially in the harsh north and east light. I am debating having a quart of Grappa mixed to try, on paper it looks pretty close to the Black Raspberry, but one never knows until it's on the wall.

Well I am about to change mine, these are not great pics - or rooms for that matter, but look at the alcove with the lounge chair, Pratt and Lambert, I know the bedroom was Sweet William, and the alcove was one up on the strip, maybe Tulip Purple. The darker color is rich, warm and inviting, will use again.

C2 Paint Wicked 6446 is a rich deep purple!I love your thought of pairing the deep purple with the revere pewter! It will be gorgeous!

Just bumping up to see if Mairin tried the BM Kalamata. I have that on my short list and would love to see a room painted in it.
