We came very close to buying one for our current bathroom, but went with a tiled corner shower instead. You can get a riser mounted dish to hold soap and shampoo (DEA Bath has one that should work). You pretty much need a two piece shower curtain with a seam where the faucet handles are, although you could get also the curtain sewn together at the top and bottom to minimize the leakage. DEA has a J shaped support rod that allows the curtain to move freely past the ceiling supports, and these are a big help too.

Yah, I'm the one who posted awhile back wondering how well they would work. Still haven't really made up my mind yet. We have such a small bathroom (a water-closet,lol!) that it would give so much more room. I'm hoping someone who has actually installed one will post and tell us their pros and cons.

It's really interesting to me that I've called the manufacturer, dealers, asked forums, etc. and I still can't find anyone that has actually installed/used one of these things. Bad sign? I don't know. I'm not averse to being a trail-blazer but this one is making me a little nervous. We would certainly tile beneath and just beyond the pan (like a tile rug, the rest of the floor is wood - another risk I know). And I like the riser-mounted soap/shampoo holder. So I think we're narrowing down the sticking points.

Anybody else with any thoughts??
