Um, it's pricey. I don't know your price point, but I think I could buy maybe one tile. :-) You can always call a dealer and ask. There's one very near my house (I do press my nose to the window sometimes...)

These are similar, not the same...but could work if the WZ is more.

You'd need to go to a WZ dealer for pricing. They don't post it. Even if you go sometimes they don't have it and they are fairly notorious for taking forever to deliver.

AS has great stuff and very prompt delivery but you may need to go through a wholesale source (though these days perhaps not).

I will warn you about Ann Sacks basics. I defy you to choose their basics since they are right next to all of the their really fantastic stuff. I actually hadn't heard of Ann Sacks until my GC, when we went over the budget four our house said, "these allowances are high end, and should be fine as long as you don't put Ann Sacks in every room".

Of course then, I just had to see Ann Sacks. And chose it! Not the basics. I understand that Ann Sacks has been buying up all the craftspeople in tile and so most of the really interesting stuff they control.

They do have a really nice basics line but it has been pointed out to me that many of their nicest basics you can get from others (like the penny rounds) for less.

I am happy to say though, I mixed Ann Sacks and the like with things like Daltile classic honed white hex for $5.23 a sq ft! Woo hoo. Or in a pool bathroom, I am using 6' sq white Home Depot coupled with commercial depth markers. Dirt cheap!

Anyway, you may be able to find a way to use what you love as an accent or in a given area, and economize on the rest. With the modern look of this tile, i could see it used say, behind your range, and then the rest of the backsplash area could be glass mounted over painted drywall or somesuch.

I ordered a few types of WZ tile for our current reno, and was surprised to see that there were some great deals to be had. I didn't have the same experience at Ann Sacks.

Delivery did take a while, but they gave me an estimate of when the tile would be in, and I received the tile during that time frame.

I actually have the AS peridot pennyrounds on our guest bath floor. Very happy with them and never did find them elsewhere at the time though the style is now very popular and they are around. They are made by Paris Ceramics if that helps anyone.

Also used AS basics 2 x 4s for my kitchen backsplash and was able to match my paint to a Barbara Barry color. Very happy with it though I must admit that after we were finished I bumped into this on my next visit and was very upset not to have seen it previously -- would have done the bathroom.

Experience at AS can vary with the showroom. We have two where I live. One is so snobby they won't say hello and I at the other one they couldn't be nicer or more helpful.

Artistic also has great tile, if it's near anyone, and a huge selection.

Rococo, What's not to love about penny rounds. Do you mean you did mint, or did they have a different color back then? I love the mint, but my GC talked me out of it since the bathroom I wanted it for is kind of dark.

Not sure if it's the same color or just similar. They have a pale gray that's really great and a pale beige (impossible to tell what's what online -- their repro is awful). Some of those have a halo effect, which is not my personal preference. It makes a beautiful floor for a bath which won't get a lot of daily traffic.

Expect you've seen the herringbone marble mo with the color dots, another favorite. The one I linked above is good for an entry or a large room as it's rather dark and Vic'y but it's really stunning.

Worldmom I know it's been 5 years since your post, but I'm also looking at some outrageously priced, beautiful, Walker ZANGER tile. +$100sq ft. I need around 90sq ft and if I don't find it at a greatly discounted price I will need to look for something else. Can you share the tile store that you purchased from or any other helpful information. I don't know where to start. Thanks in advance.

Just to ad- I was at a tile store recently and price for WZ thassos tile is $62/sq foot! I quickly figured that would cost $20k to tile my bathroom. I found some for $19/sq. foot elsewhere.

Lowes in Abilene Texas has several tiles that are amazingly similar to the Sterling Row collection. There is an Architectural Digest article that lists the price for the WZ Sterling Row as $78 sf.

I bumped into this thread while searching for a wz weave tile in the pewter color . Anyone know where I can find it for a decent price.

I live in Denver and I'm trying to find out where I can purchase WZ tile, the dusquesa pattern. Is it cheaper to buy in LA and drive out?

I was quoted $60 sf trade pricing from our local distributor. If you look at WZ website should tell you who sells it locally.
