I have been seeing a lot more kitchens with no hardware at all. I really like it, because you really can focus on the overall design of the space. There aren't large metal handles to break the flow of your eye.

The tall cabinets, which are the Thermador Refrigerator and Freezer columns, are a larger handle and the wall and base cabinets are slightly smaller. Most appliances that have custom panels require an appliance pull. It has a bit more weight and can handle opening the appliance.

The backsplash is a combination of the marble countertop and a glass mosaic. You'll notice a smaller backsplash of 4" high underneath the wall cabinet, but taller underneath the window to fill the entire space.
