I wouldn't. The only reasons to prime twice is if you think you didn't apply a nice full coat of primer or if you are trying not to use too much top coat because it is more expensive.

Thank you paint guy! I'm going to do 2 coats of the topcoat. My dad always said "do it once do it right" and I REALLY don't want to paint the 20 foot wall of paneling again for a long time!

I used Aura for the first time last week, and loved it. I did 2 coats ('cuz my Mom taught me the same as your Dad), but it almost didn't need it.

It a color called sonnet. I was going to use lancaster whitewash but that was just a little to yellow for me.i had GREAT reservations about paint the woodwork in this room but everyone on here was so encouraging. So I went for it. So far I'm loving the lightness even the primer is bringing into the room. The walls have been paint BM Palladian blue. Can wait until its done!
