I did a large sample of BM Silver Mist on poster board for my master bedroom. I tried it after trying Oxygen (C2 color). I was looking for a soft gray blue color. I loved them on the swatch, but I thought they both looked more baby blue than gray blue in my room. I read somewhere that if you want a good gray blue then you really need to look more at the grays, rather than the blues. I was running out of time and I decided on BM Cloud Cover, which is more of a bone color. It looks bone/gray/hint of blue/green depending on the light. I'm very happy with it. I'm going to use silver and gray blue accents for bedding, rugs, lamps, etc. I have BM Collingwood in my hallway (gray/taupe color, which I love!) and the Cloud Cover goes beautifully with that. I, too, am debating Silver Mist vs Gentle Gray - and would appreciate any insights. I've placed the paint boards here, there and everywhere and the two are almost interchangeable on my walls - but I'm worried that, when they are painted, the silver mist might turn blue. The area is a double room, 15 x 30, and some of it (the sunroom half) is light and the other half (the tv/family area) is dark. Thank you!!

I used Silver Mist in my daughters North and East facing bedroom. It went toward purplish undertones in the sun and was plain grey without undertones in artificial light. It was really pretty. No blue undertones at all.
