The wall colour is a great backdrop for the rug and the drapes pick up the same background colour. looks great.

Thanks! One of the pictures has a baby blue cast to it, the room never looks blue, the color is gray, but it has some blue in it.

Funny thing is, I have the same drapes....in my library! My wall color is similar to the background of the drapes though. Not trying to hijack your thread but thought you might like to see your drapes in a different library. The shelves have still to be filled and arranged.

ttodd, aktillery, nancybee and Sis3- Thank you! The clock is from the 1870s, we think. It is from Germany, bought in the 1970s when my dad was stationed in Germany.
