Crushed seashells have always been around. They've been mixed into some colors as standard and available, on request, to be put in others.
The effect is awesome on dark finishes like Midnight Blue
and great on lighter standard colors like Caribbean.

Thanks Kelly! Boy, pools are a constant learning experience!! I think I'm glad that I didn't know everything going into this that I do now or I would have spent a LOT more ;-)

So, can these be added to a quartz finish? We are about to begin our pool build and will be doing a dark quartz plaster...haven't picked the exact color yet.

I know this topic is dead lol. Yes it looks good in quartz pools also. We do it all the time.

How much should I expect to pay for this?

One bag will do the average floor and it is hand broad-casted in the final troweling. Some contractors charge .50 per square foot of *TIA Total Interior Square footage.One bag retails for 70 dollars. Hope that helped.

I wish my PB was willing to add it in to our quartz finish!! They won't even put it in their pebble tec lookalike -sigh-
