CL chairs worth checking out or no?

Time in the evenings these days is limited. These chairs would be 35-40min one way to check out. I am thinking they appear too minty and not olive enough. Should I go with my gut and pass? Or go check them out? I'm looking to switch out my currect recliner with something else to provide more seating (probably wouldn't have room for the ottoman). And the price is right, which makes them more tempting.

Like I said, my gut is saying no but I guess I am questioning it enough to at least post here. :)

I've been struggling with this decision. What color? Chairs or loveseat? Leather? Fabric? Ah! I think it would be easier to start over, but the couch is in good shape. Any suggestions helpful.

(Sorry my pics are so huge - I've tried to resize them a zillion times - it's Monday today!)

I don't like the way the fabric on the chair backs (front of the backs, actually) is stretched. I would pass.

I would pass if thats what your gut says.

I have bought a lot of "pre-owned" or vintage furniture and when it comes to upholstered pieces, I stick to pieces that are cheap enough (and high enough initial quality) that I would be willing to reupholster them (whether I actually Do at the end of the day is a different story but I at least have it in the back of my mind)

Well ... $200 and a year old (if that's accurate) doesn't sound bad at all to me! I'd email the seller and ask to see a few more pics, including a close-up of the fabric.

graywings - Do you mean the fabric is stretched so it's sagging? I did notice that, too and maybe should ask for a clearer pic of the overall chair. I kinda assumed that it was just the angle of the pic or something.

palimpsest - definitely no reupholstery plans here!

auntjen - I agree that the price is good, but of course not good if the fabric doesn't match my decor well or they're not in great shape. (btw, the last pic is a closeup of the fabric)

I will ask the seller for more pics just to be REALLY sure before I pass on them. :)

I'd ask for a photo with the cushions flipped up--to make sure that they're upholstered on both sides. I'd also ask where the CL lister bought them.

The shape is pretty classic, but the one on the left looks a little battered.
