Pool Cover Storage

I'm getting ready to remove my mesh Loop-Loc pool cover for the first time. It seems to me that it will slide through the water and get pretty wet as I fan-fold it. How dry does it need to be before I put it in the mesh storage bag it came with and store it for the summer?

Put it right in the mesh bag. It will dry in the sun. Then, assuming it isn't an enormous cover, put it in a large wheeled trash can with a lid. I love the 96 gallon Toters. It keeps mice out, makes moving it easy, and gets the toys and such put in in the fall so it gets used year round.

Thanks Scott. Do you have any idea how low I'll need to leave the bag/cover in the sun to dry? It's been in the 70's here.

Any cleaning tips? Our pool is 20x40. Was thinking of putting plastic out on grass and spraying all the pollen and dirt off.? Needed or not needed? Thanks

It won't hurt anything. I normally hit it lightly with a garden hose sprayer before I remove it. Remember for next year.
