I've been reading everyone's experiences w/acetone,etc...and the various stains but I'm more confused now than I was.

We orig. used Cabot's ATO and in the high sun, it's gone but there is still stain in the more sheltered areas. On the large exposed area, it is very typically "greyed". Some areas that had furniture over it are blackened.

I want a good clean start and to follow it up with a better choice of stain for future re-application ease. I think the WoodTux or Woodrich sounded good but how do I do the best cleaning first? What is percarb or oxalic acid?

Anyone able to clarify all this for me? I appreciate it.
