I just got one too!

I was on earlier this morning and everything was fine. Now, the da*^#@ highlighted words links are back again! They're on other GW forums, as well. What's going on, GardenWeb?!? I hate these things and refuse to click on any of them!

I see them too! Last time when we complained we were told it was a mistake. I questioned that, then.

I, too, would like to lodge a complaint - it is our words being linked to advertising and I thought such wasn't permitted on the forum.

I hate having advertising shoved in my face like that.

I'm not getting them. I did have the GW survey thing bouncing across the screen a few times.

I am. Things I posted which were fine yesterday now are underlined. And I have all this pop-blocker stuff too.

Do they not understand that NO ONE is ever going to click these targeted links?

I see that Garden Web is now available on Twitter too. I do not think this audience is one who will Twitter.

I use Firefox as my browser and have the "Ad-Block Plus" plug in/extension. Not only do I not have ANY ads or pictures, but I haven't seen the double underlined links embedded in the text.

Me either, thank goodness. But the site is quite slow this morning...
