I wanted a beach entry and was talked out of it - it takes up a lot of your pool, wild animals will use it to drink out of and will poop in your pool(?!!), and pebble plaster shouldn't be on a beach entry as it needs to be kept wet at all times (that's why most people have flagstone on beach entries). I'm sure the PBs on the forum will correct me if that's not right. I opted for a tanning ledge instead and LOVE it. It cost a lot less too. One thing I didn't do when I built the pool and really regret is LED lighting. I did just add one, but my pool really needs more than one light, and I should have had at least 2 put in when I built

We'll start our dig next week, and because of all the advice on this forum, we opted to go with two LED lights, as well. So, I believe this is something you'll want to reconsider, as the majority of people with just one light have indicated that they wish they would have gone with two LED lights.
