Why do so many people here write IPE instead of ipe? I see it in caps in a couple places on the internet, but not many. More often I'll see Ipe, but those tend to be the same places where they capitalize the first letter of all woods. So, what's with the all caps around these parts?

Hey, I did say it was off-topic, right?
