You can make any block into a potholder...just use Christmas fabrics and you have a Christmas potholder!

Check Quilters Cache...they have a squillion blocks to choose from.

I plan to make some potholders for my family too. As Donna posted any block will look good. I made these folded star potholders and they were a big hit. They take more fabric, but that also makes them thicker.

Thanks bunches Rosa. I am hoping later in the year to make more potholders as I have plenty of cotton flat batting (I think it was Warm and Natural cotton batting or something like that) and Insul-Bright (to reflect heat) left over from this last project, they probably won't be Christmas fabric though as I am trying to work as much as possible from my fabric stash this year and they'll probably a little scrappy too. I like your Folded Star pot holders they are really pretty, but at first glance they look complicated to make.
