Painted Fireplace

Back in November I asked opinions on painting my full wall brick fireplace(see attached post). I did go ahead and paint it white, but never posted pics, so just wanted to post an update on the transformation. While it's still not my "ideal" look, I think it's a significant improvement over what it was. Wish I would've done it 17 years ago when we first bought our house!!

Beautiful! The white painted bricks really echo the tile work in your gorgeous kitchen.

It really modernizes the space and makes sense to have a white wall. Funny I just repainted mine to look like brick, but in your situation this looks better!

Very nice! It definitely works well with the rest of your decor. I know there are many who think it's a sin to paint over brick, but we, too, just painted our brick fireplace surround white and love it, too!
