Fordham House is a really nice B&B in Greenport.

Thank you ogoo, I went quickly on the websites and saw many possibilities! CWM again I know by looking at the 2 Inns that this a place my husband will enjoy. Sas the Fordham house looks terrific..I am very excitied with all the suggestions. Thank you!

My relatives live in Mattituck about 30 minutes away and the last time I visited we ate at the NorthFork Table. I would not stay here overnight. The Inn is close to the main highway. Since it is an historical building, the rooms are smaller and there is little sound barrier between the rooms and the dining rooms below. I can't imagine your husband walking up the stairs if he has had leg issues. Check out Tripadvisor and other review sites.

I would definately book a table for dining tho. They also have a great little food truck that is parked in the back of the parking lot that serves great sandwiches.

In Greenport, check out Salamander General Store. They have delicious carryout soups and they are famous for their fried chicken. I also love the Southold Fish Market for their carryout..don't miss the Great Peconic scallops

Obviously, I have a place to stay, so don't pay too much attention to the B&B's.
