Did you end up using Aztec's products or did they just charge you for the labor of installing. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they charge you? How many panels did you get. Enjoy your solar!

I think we got 6, 4x12s. Whatever it came out to 80% coverage I think. We have a 31x18 pool, pretty standard size. We paid just over $4000. We paid a wee bit extra to run the pipe under an overhang rather than across the roof, but only like $90 extra.

I did find some companies, like roofers, that would install the system we were going to buy but the only way to install the panels properly was to penetrate the roof. Aztec uses a system, I believe it is the Helicoil?, that clips onto the tiles. They guaranteed to replace any damaged tiles, even pointed out a damaged one we were already aware of. We had no issues but if we do, we feel we have a good company to call for repairs.

We just figured this was one project that we wanted to hold someone else accountable to.
