My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The tiles don't look white, they are looking more grey. Are they in fact white unglazed ceramic? where are they from?

    Yes, they are unglazed ceramic and they're offwhite/grayish, but considered white. We bought them at a Century Tile in Chicago.

    What is the benefit to using unglazed? Is it just an aesthetic choice or do they also clean up better?

    I would also like to know what the benefit is to using glazed vs. unglazed tiling? Yours looks wonderful! Are they hard to clean?
