Shelburne buff or smokey taupe

don't know how dark you want to go but springfield tan is nice.

I looked at these colors and realized (no fault of the suggestions) that I would like a bit more pizzazz if possible. I tried Autumn Cover (2170-30) and love the color - but am worried that is too much (even on 2 walls) given a variety of photos/books in the room. More info - natural floors, one large (6x6) window but not a lot of light (east-facing). Small room - 10 x 12. White Dove bookshelf on one side. The colors I'm using in other parts of the house are Ballet White/White Dove(Trim), Clay Beige, Violet Stone (love this) Mt Rainier Gray, maybe Paris Rain (haven't really hit the right shade of green/gray for the powder room - which has gray tile with a purple tinge and a gray speckled granite ledge with some tan in it and white tile). I'm terrible with color - and appreciate your comments a great deal. I've worn my painter out!

I can see you really don't want a brown but something more impressive and I'm adding a site below that has the most beautiful shades. The one in the picture is in the color wave you like but more toned down, the sand color would go nice with the weathered autumn. I love it. That being said, check out all these colors. Rain is one of MY favs.

agreed - those colors are gorgeous. Any idea how weathered coral (or others) might translate to Ben Moore colors?

No I just bought the paint from them. I only needed a gallon so it was worth it to get what I wanted. I know the BM colors in the Historic selection and more muted than the regular selections so maybe you should check those out. Any muted color will look more peaceful. I do the the weathered coral would look fantastic with your furnishings.
