My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I noticed the thickness difference in both countertops. Can you explain the difference?

    It was a request from the client. The island counter is 3" thick, and the perimeter counter is 1 1/4" thick.

    But both perimeter cabinets and island stand at the same height? Correct? How was the difference adjusted? We're island cabinets shorter?

    The island cabinets were 33 1/2" high, and the perimeter cabinets were 35 1/4" high. This allowed the tops of the counters to line up.

    It looks fine. You can't notice it unless you tell people. Just keep short people out ! (Joking). It's really a lovely kitchen. I envy the counter space you have .
