We just got Aqua Blue PS and we LOVE it. There is NO green what so ever. I didn't want any green and minimal grey. It is a standard color, so no "up" in price.
I just posted some new pics under my build...(Long's)....I can honestly say I love this color....our other color we liked was Blue Granite, but thought it was a bit darker and had a little too much grey in it.....Our pool is 6.5 feet deep and we can easily see to the bottom. It's blue-blue. Sometimes Windex-like in the sun, sometimes just a nice solid sky blue....
In our shallow end, it looks wonderful too. The steps look a tad bit lighter, but still blue...not grey like some of the colors. We have blue tile too and it matches perfect.

We are in the same boat and here's what I've come up with... We've seen several pools, but keep coming back to Aqua blue. We have a free form pool and many have said that Aqua isn't "natural" enough. However, we like the look of the crisp blue in direct sun and the deeper blue with shade. I think that the Aqua gives the crisp, cool blue of a white plaster pool, but with the added benefit of more color change and durability. The crisp blue will hopefully make it seem a little cooler when the pool water hovers in the 90's here in the houston area! :-) Blue Granite is very pretty (it was my original choice), but in the couple of pools we've seen it's darker and more gray than I prefer. I think (as of tonight, but subject to change) we have decided to go for the Aqua. I think. Good Luck.

This is our Blue Granite pool. The second photo was taken when the pool was first filled (and the deck was unfinished!) so the water appears slightly more green than normal. We have no regrets about our color choice. We wanted a fairly dark color but we also needed to be able to see the bottom clearly!

hey courtlynn, glad you liked our colors :-) it has been several weeks now seeing it in all types of weather and conditions, and we've had no 2nd thoughts. I can tell you there is no green in the blue granite. IMO it is a good complement to the natural stone & blue china tile. i just talked with a neighbor that saw our pool and is doing the same color scheme in their build as well. When we were looking at pools prior to build, we saw a flagstone, blue china and tahoe blue combo also - it looked good too, but the blue is slightly more of the 'windex' blue shade.

Also, we have 6 ft depth, and I can see anything on the bottom clearly - it is not super dark.

Really comes down to your personal preference. Pick one you like and don't look back.

i am going with blue granite; but also went through this decision recently. i prefer prism blue but not at the upgraded price!
here are pics of pools with aqua blue, granite blue, and prism blue. first 3 aqua, next 4 blue granite, last ones prism blue.
i thought i would like the aqua but the mottling on the baja shelf concerned me. a little too baby blue for the dark stone i have, but they're all pretty.

Dear Philanna, I stumbled across your pics and wanted to ask you some more about your prism blue pool. We are trying to decide between Blue Granite and Prism Blue. Would you say Prism Blue is a dark color? Also, is it a pure blue or does it tend to go a little to the teal side? Thanks so much!
