Fran, that's a good tip. I also use Thread Heaven.

I also prefer using shorter pieces of thread so there is less to re-sew if a section happens to come undone over time. :)

Thanks for the tip. I have a binding to sew this week. This will keep my sailor's cussing at a minimum.

Donna, you can have the best of both worlds. When hand stitching something, I use as long a thread as I can handle, but periodically tie a knot and snap it through, then continue on.
