So we are remodeling on 1st floor bath room. We gutted the room and filled in a doorway and moved a wall to add that hall space for the bathroom. It is still a small room 6 x 10 on the longest walls then the doorway cuts the corner on the other side. The house is 1936 and this is the last space to be remodelled. I bought a 54 inch clawfoot tub and a pedestal sink. the way the plumbing is set up is as you walk in the door to your right is the toilet then the sink and then the tub at the end of the room. Is there a good argument one way or the other to have the toilet next to the tub. I have seen it both ways.
