You are all so talented! I read your posts and you have wonderful ideas and really know your stuff!

This is my first time posting. So here it goes! My kitchen has cherry cabinets, uba tuba granite (wish it weren't but it came with the house)and stainless steel appliances. I like simple things but with style. I lean toward transitional-contemporary if there is such a thing. I really do not want the stone look. I like a subway tile and behind the cooktop maybe the tile in a herringbone pattern. So my question is the color of the tile. I want it neutral but not boring. I have been looking at a light butterscotch color. Oh and by the way my eating area is adjacent where I have a dark table with gold upholstered chairs. I have been to every tile store in Nashville and seen lovely things but need some direction. I havent figured out how to post pics yet. Maybe tomorrow? Thank you in advance
