Lovely, Donna. Is that the split 9 patch? I'm sure she'll treasure it.

It's beautiful! She'll love it.
Always wanted to try a TT but never could find a free pattern. Never could figure out the pattern from a photo.

It's beautiful. I love the loopy flower.

What a great gift! I know I'd love that when I turn 50 (later this year!!).

Oh to be 50 again and have someone give me such a beautiful quilt.

Donna, You chose the right coordinating fabrics. It's a beautiful quilt and your quilting adds to it's beauty!

Great fabrics!

Thank you all so much! I can't take credit for the fabric choices - it was a kit I picked up at a quilt show several years ago. :)

Donna

Looks great. Kits are fun because it takes some of the thinking out of the pleasure of quilting...Your sister will treasure it. I like the quilting, goes nicely with the fabric and pattern. Have fun when you have you BD parties in Aug. TFS

Looks great...what a nice 50th BD gift!!!

All I got was a hugh queen size white sheet hung outside the front of my brothers house w/ black spray paint saying ..."it's so sad, little sister is turning nifty fifty" A quilt would have been so much nicer... :-)

LOL Valarie! I was dumb enough to schedule a dentist appt. on my 50th birthday, giving my wonderful coworkers a window of opportunity to decorate my office! Balloons, black confetti, etc. But my 40th was worse - they draped everything in my office in black sheets and then added balloons and such.

Donna

It looks great and I like the creative quilt design.

Lovely quilt and I am sure your little sister will love it! As we were leaving our guild meeting a friend said that it was her birthday and she was 50. I said oooooo you have joined us! Then realized I am 61! lol I guess we are only as old as we feel!
