Are you planning to add an area rug? If so, I'd choose that first, then pick your paint color.

The trim, crown and base I'd probably leave white or antique white, but it's hard saying without a visual.

I would leave the trim white to match the rest of the house.
How dark do you want to go on the paint? I love Eddie Bauer Shale (it's a light grey/blue) and it looks great with dark wood. Someone here used it in a bathroom.
