Found my granite!

After so many months of visiting numerous slab yards, I thought I wanted Bianco Antico granite. Then the unthinkable happaned, I was meeting my fabricator at the granite yard to tag the BA when I found the one and it's not BA! What do you all think? My cabinets are Kraftmaid shaker style in the peppercorn stain with european bar pulls and santos mahogony hardwood flooring.

Hi RICS...

That's very dramatic...is it Delicatus White? It at least looks like it has some of the same elements..It will contrast nicely with Peppercorn..Do you snatch it up?

KitchenAddict This is Delicatus Brown. I've seen the Delicatus White and it paled in comparision to yours. Yes we tagged it and are finalizing the details with the fabricator.

JuniorK - That was my thoughts exactly. Our center island is 8'x 4' so this will be very dramatic.

Can't wait for the install.

This is just beautiful. I'm a BA owner, and I'm still as crazy about it as I was eighteen months ago when it was installed. I know you will love this in ten years. It's an over-the-top visual delight.

I was 99% sure this was a variation of Delicatus but wanted to see what OP would say. Beautiful stone indeed! Will look gorgeous against peppercorn stained cabinetry.

Ricsfan ... so interesting!!! Just yesterday I bought a slab of Delicatus Brown for my kitchen counters. Love it!!! And it looks so amazingly like your slab too. Luckily I only need one slab (small kitchen) ....

what do you plan for your backsplash??? I'm thinking something simple since the granite has a lot going on :)

Gorgeous. I am contemplating a Solaris slab...its so beautiful, but I'm deciding if I'm brave enough. I'm leaning towards something that makes me smile rather than something boring that has higher resale potential. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

Beautiful slab that will compliment your cabs perfectly! But the best part is how smitten YOU are with it--do your happy dance and try not to daydream about it when you drive, lol!
