I *finally* finished quilting Shakespeare in the Park, so I'm hoping to get the binding on that this weekend, as well as binding on my cancer donation quilt. Sunday I have to play bells at 2 services, then we're going over to see my mom & the inlaws.

Tomorrow a.m. DH goes back to the Dr. to see if his broken hand is completely healed. I sure hope so - I'm tired of being the house girl AND the yard boy! ggg

Going to get together with my daughter tomorrow night to finish tyeing this Irish Chain and work on a snowball quilt she needs done the first week of July. I worked on the Irish Chain some today but ran out of floss. Saturday no plans, hope to stay at home and sew some or hand quilt on my Dutchman puzzle. Sunday is church and then we come to Monday and I go to see my dr. It is a three hour drive one way so it is an ALL day thing.

Nothing exciting down my way this weekend. DH is playing poker with work buddies Friday night, which leaves me with guilt-free quilting. :D At some point on Saturday, we're getting together with friends, as a mutual friend will be in from out of town. We also have to get the oil changed in the car and run by Fry's (electronics Mecca on the other side of town) to get DH's new computer parts as his b-day present. (His b-day is the Friday of the retreat next weekend...wasn't he nice to let me go?!) Church on Sunday, and probably doing laundry and playing video games after that. :D

I'm still working on the wedding quilt for DS. I have a baby shower to attend on Sat. afternoon and then back to the quilt.
I just haven't been able to make myself work on it this week. I hope to be inspired again this weekend.lol Maybe having the deadline drawing near will help.

DH works this week so don't see a lot of him. We have bike rides planned for Fri and Sat mornings, then babysitting in the evenings. Sunday gotta work all day and take call all night so no time for much else.

Organizing my craft room now that the shelf cubby from IKEA is purchased & assembled. Waiting for DH to install more shelves in the closet & then will be set to FILL the shelves & get everything OUT of the living room. To see the living room floor again will be a miracle. :)

If it looks decent when I'm done...I'll post pix of my new work space.

Other than that, will be enjoying having DD home after being gone a week at church camp.

We're going to a wedding this evening but shouldn't be too, too late. I'm looking forward to it because I bought the most fabulous dress--red tea length with a black lace overlay. I feel like Scarlett O'Hara (or is it Belle Whatling?) in it.

Tomorrow we'll have old friend for dinner and Sunday we've been invited to a neighbor's Father's Day barbeque.

Maybe in between committments, I'll do some more work on my Happy Scrappy Houses quilt. I'm at the solid color triangle background pieces now. Then it's just sashing, cornerstones and a trip to the long-arm quilter.

I need to swap a small bookshelf upstairs for a large bookshelf downstairs and then re-organize both of them. Might try to do that today while waiting for the glass man to come and change out two windshields.

ALso have to shop with DH for graduation gifts for the step kids (2) who graduated last night, then take them out to dinner Sat.

Nothing else planned so intend to work (finish?) my chickens wallhanging! Have 1 basket block and 8 star blocks to do.

Tonight we have a formal Fire Dept banquet, it is our first and is expected to be long.....I picked up Rick's Class A suit yesterday at the cleaners and just need to give my clothes a last minute press.
Not much planned for the weekend, do know we need to install the big ac in the living room, weather says hot next week! Hard to believe since the furnace was running last night!LOL
Rick will go visit his parents Sunday, tomorrow I think we'll clean out the shed!

Nothing much happening in my neck of the woods...Sat.,graduation and birthday parties for grandkids, DH is going to the Pirate/Cubs baseball game, Sunday Mass and breakfast with friends and probably dinner at a son's..And then Monday comes and we start all over again...Time is passing too quickly, I gotta stop and smell those roses!....

DH is in FL getting the house sprayed for bugs and checking up on the kind of out of there yard man.
I have a sinus attack that has settled in my ears so I am not going out to eat with my fam Sat night. I can't taste anything!!!!!!
Niece went to the hospital this morning at 6 AM to welcome Abigail into the world.
I am going over to my parents Sunday for Daddy's Day.
Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful men in our lives!!!!

We did some estate sales this morning. I bought
a quilted bomber jacket in great shape for $3.00
and a sweatshirt jacket with cute bird houses ect.
on it for $4.00. Tomorrow morning we will go to an
auction sale. DS#1 is taking us out to dinner on
Saturday night. Sunday after church we will be heading
to the Cleveland clinic for DH's check up on Mon and Tue.

I got the binding put on my second I spy quilt today so I hope to get the binding sewn down on the back of both of them this weekend.
Other than that, golf and yard work. No more daddies in my life so it will be just another day on Sunday.

We're trying to get the motorhome loaded to take off for 3 weeks ... leaving from northern Colorado - Missouri - Kentucky and return but I have a quilt class tomorrow before we can leave!!!
DS is in town for the weekend too - so we will take "dad" out to brunch for father's day after my class before hitting the road.
Loaded Quilter's Travel Companion & Gardenweb on the laptop ... will try to hit some quilt shops along the way but am not taking my sewing machine because we will be visiting several friends along the way. I may take along a lapquilt to work on (handquilting).
We also plan to check out some dog breeders along the way - we're looking for a miniature australian shepherd puppy!
