Find out what the return policy is if you are disappointed.

Socks12345.. I plan on it. Thanks. I was wondering if anyone has info about good quality down comforters.

This is a link to The Company Store where I have purchased nice down comforters.

I'd go with Cuddledown. Most of their products are made in the U.S., so you wouldn't have to worry about toxins, etc. I don't buy bedding made in Asia any more. I simply don't trust the quality and safety. Cuddledown is very high quality.

I think The Co. Store has a good rep and a very good return policy too. They also have down alternative comforters in many styles and colors. :)

I've read that some comforters will fluff up once they are out of the packaging.

I bought a down comforter last month and ordered from the Company Store because I wanted something I could trust. They have an excellent return policy, a lifetime guarantee, and a reputation to keep. They also have some nice ones on clearance right now. Their comforters come in a couple different sizes and so you might want to know what duvet you plan to get so you know what size comforter you want.

i have bought both comforters and featherbeds from the company store and been very happy with them (I've been happy with all I have bought from them) I haven't bought (yet) from cuddledown but I've heard only great things about them.

As for the one you bought off of ebay-- it probably needs to be aired.. shake it and snap it in the air.. see if it fluffs up. If not or if you question anything about it, I'd return it and buy from a recommended company.

My down comforter was purchased at the Company Store about 15-18 years ago and we're still using it. Yes, it's flattened a bit, but it works just fine in a duvet.

you might have a summer weight duvet, the fill power might be exact but it's the ounces/weight that counts. The lighter the down the higher the fill power will be, but if a duvet is considered a summer light weight, it will be flat, not puffy, since it will have less down in it.

which vendor did you buy from on ebay ?

Cuddledown is a great brand. Also I have a down comforter from this place. It was featured in Southern Living as the place where most of the 5 star hotels get theirs. I love their pillows too.
