Bev, there's been some kind of front stalled here for a few days...drenching rains and flooding over on the east coast.

I'm in the Orlando area, and we've had a lot of rain, too.

Thanks, Donna. To tell the truth, I'm kinda hoping the flight is canceled. We don't get to Florida often, and raining and humid and hot is about the worst conditions for me.

I live in Brooksville, right across the state from Orlando, today it's been not hard rain but constant threat with intervals of light rain. Yet a few miles South it's been heavy downpours. We are in one of those patterns where there is no telling when and how long you can get a downpour (with lightning.) If I were you I'd wait.

Maybe you should wait until it's freezing cold and mountains of snow in your area so you'll at least be able to enjoy our snowlessness. :-)

I'd love to come in January instead, but we are meeting friends and I hate to cancel on them. Last year our winter here was so bad, snow and cold, it was the first time I really wanted to head to Florida. Normally, I enjoy the winter. Age might be a factor. LOL

Although I live in Orlando I've been north of Jacksonville at Amelia Island for a few days. 60% predicted but we've only seen a few drops. Lucky!!! It's been cloudy and breezy, so much cooler than normal.

Come on down, Bev. If you're meeting up with friends, you'll have a good time in spite of what the weather does. If it's a gentle rain without thunder and lightning, you can still wander about. But our motto, 'if thunder roars, go indoors' is not to be ignored!

Don't forget the Arnica. lol
