cabinets or flooring first?

I recently put in hardwood flooring throughout my house except my kitchen. I have leftover flooring and want to use it for my kitchen when I remodel. The problem is if I put the flooring underneath the cabinets I probably won't have enough flooring. If I put the cabinets down first I would have just enough. The flooring I got was on clearance and they don't carry it anymore. Do I waste 125 sq. ft of flooring and buy tile or do I go ahead and put the cabinets first and put the flooring down after? If I do use the flooring I have it could save me lots of money because my neighbor has all the tools I need to finish the job, I've already installed the rest of the house and know how to do it, and I don't know how to do tile or have the tools.
