Hello, a while ago I posted about needing help with the furniture placement in my living room, it's still work in progress, but in the meantime I wanted to ask an opinion regarding my old dining table. We picked it up on CL and originally I wanted to paint it black like in the inspiration below:

(it's the same set, too). Then I realized it's going to be too dark for our room. I thought of off-white for table (clueless about the chairs), darker blue (maybe chairs lighter blue or gray), I fell in love with this color for the table:

Any other ideas? The room itself is painted light blue (a bit darker than the pic shows, we barely saw sun the past weeks.. had to use lamp), dark floor, white trim and windows, white curtains, white cabinet. You can see the small hallway to the kitchen (painted avocado green) and it's open to the living room, which has a bit white, dark brown, orange and light green in it. So really, black would just stand out and not match much.. Would the Village Square (brownish green) help tie the rooms together? (I like it most). What about the chairs? Any other great colors I'm missing? TIA!!
