Whoops! We forgot!

My husband has been a GC most of his life but now he's working on the most important job of his life ... our own house! He's working 7 days a week with other subs hired to help out. The kitchen was gutted to the studs (and even most of those were replaced), a new foundation put underneath plus a new garage. The framing crew comes on weekends because our garage is a "small job". Things have been progressing nicely. The cabinets have been picked out but not ordered. He has measured and re-measured and drawn placement marks on floors. I am beginning to get nervous about details since I've done hardly any research besides working with a kitchen designer. The new chimney for the furnaces and kitchen wood cookstove came out wonderful. The mason ignored his request to use some ugly old bricks (thank goodness) and broke his broom. Saturday night of Labor Day weekend we sit down to a much deserved rest and relaxation in front of the tv. Oops, no signal from the satelite dish. Several tries at recovering the signal and my husband realizes the new garage roof erected that day is blocking signal to our dish. No TV! Have to wait until Tuesday to call the dish guy because it's a holiday weekend and he can't come until today (Wednesday). Oh well, at least I finished reading my library books before they became overdue.
