I once saw a pillow shaped like a dog bone. It was made from three dog bone shapes. I, too, have been looking for a C-shaped neck pillow pattern. Maybe I'll just have to make my own, with a plastic shopping bag, duct tape and some stuffing. That would let me model it so I can be sure of the shape, then make it out of fabric.

Here is a link to the dog-bone pillow pattern.

Has anyone tried to print out and put together the u-shaped pillow? Somethings missing or doesn't fit.

I made about 15 of the u-shaped pillows 2 years ago. They went together very easily and I got the pattern from a commercial pattern (McCalls maybe) that had a bunch of pillow shapes on it. I made them out of polar fleece and pressed fusible batting to the wrong sides then sewed the two u-shaped pieces together leaving an opening, stuffed it with fiberfil and stitched up the opening. They can be opened up again if more filling is needed and wash and dry like a dream. I did make the pattern a little bigger and because I was making so many traced the enlarged pattern onto a cut open paper grocery sack. I personalized some with machine embroidery and donated the bulk of them to the local "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.
