your bag looks great; this is a project i want to do myself. a couple of questions for you: how difficult was it and what kind of fabric did you use?

It was not difficult except for handling the bulk of it. I used a Simplicity 4391 pattern which has this and other versions on it and put a padded strap on it instead of the webbing (I think its called) that was called for. And I added a lining of material called "headliner" at Hancocks. It is made of upholstery fabric and lined in a cotton fabric. It has a large zip pocket inside and a patch pocket. I also added an inside large button enclosure to make sure the computer can't slide out. It has a velcro closure on the flap. I cut the pattern down by about an inch in height and one half inch in width to be closer to the size of the computer (a Macbook Pro which is a little wider than some.) I will try to add a photo of the inside.
