I don't know if I would buy just because I had a 50% off coupon, but I would certainly look. There might be something I wish I had but wouldn't buy at the price and forgotten about. I'd kick myself if I later saw it and had missed the opportunity to get it.

I've had a gift card for a while, but no other reason to drive 1 1/2 hrs to the nearest JoAnn's. Next month DH has an appointment in the same town, so I'll stop in to see what they have then and maybe check the website ahead of time to see what will be on sale. I'll probably end up getting fabric I can use for the GKs(since the gift card came from their folks).

Well, I am back from Joann's. I ended up buying enough fabric to make one of my sons in law some boxer shorts for his birthday. I have two of them that always want me to make some for them. I picked out fabric that has bowling balls and bowling pins on it. I used my gift card I have had for a long time. I don't get to go there often but since I was there and had the coupon I did buy. Sometimes if I have a coupon, I might only buy some embroidery floss or even a spool of thread as long as it is a good price.
