If you've never sewn with knits, I would suggest you read up on sewing with knits. You have to be careful not to stretch knits as you sew. They don't stretch as much on the width and most of the stretch is on the length of the material.

In general you use the stretch for the width of the garment and the more stable side for the length. You would use the same size pattern, but use a ball point needle to sew with. Unlike the sharps the ball point needle separates the fibers of the fabric so you are not cutting through the knit and causing runs

If the knit does not stretch more than 20% usually you can use the pattern.
