air switch: sink or countertop install?

Hi,

I've been trying to figure out from other threads, but haven't gotten many clues. Do you have your air switch for the disposal installed with the other faucets in your sink (where I would get the extra hole drilled in the sink), or as a separate button in the counter top next to the sink? We have a drop-in sink, granite counter planned. Thanks ever so much!

you may want to consider doing an undermount sink rather than a drop-in, so as to allow all your holes to be in the granite. it would make for a much cleaner look. (easier to clean up around as well).

if i may ask, why are you planning on a drop-in sink?

I had a hole drilled in the granite next to the faucet holes. My sink is an undermount Shaw's sink.

Mine is in the corner of my top-mount sink (tile counters) closest to the sink bowl with the disposer. IMHO, the closer the better.
