Your opinion on Project Runway

I am just wondering what you all think... I have the opportunity to purchase the Brother Project Runway machine for $100 (nib)...

I currently have an older singer and in its day it was a good machine but time to upgrade..

Is this a good deal or should I save my money and put it toward a better one??

$100 is awfully cheap for a new sewing machine. I think you'd be wise to save up for a better one. Of course, I'm not the best person to advise you, since I prefer to use machines that are at least 50 years old myself!

If you have $100 to spend on a sewing machine, go to a thrift shop and buy a Singer 15-91 in a cabinet from the 1940's - 1950's (that is working) and pay for a tune-up and new electrical cord. A current model machine priced at $100 is mostly plastic and will not last you long at all.

If it's new in the box and someone is letting you have it for only $100, grab it. I checked out prices on new Brother's and $100 is a great deal.
